Chloe is a just a girl collecting small change for her beloved merry-go-round. Until that lion, no dragon, no lion — wait. The author and the illustrator are arguing about which is cooler and now the real adventure begins! Breaking down that wall between creators and readers is brilliant. The back and forth banter is hilarious and the illustrations (even when Barnett fires Rex and tries it on his own) and 3-D models support it to the perfect end.
