Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins

The evil goblins of the village are set to ruin Hanukkah again by blowing out the candles. But not this time! Hershel tricks each goblin by using his wits (and a jar of pickles, and even a dreidel.)  Kimmel's retelling of this traditional tale is made visually compelling with Hyman's rich illustrations and her use of light and dark as metaphors for good and evil.
